Three Injured In Owen Sound Rollover

Three people were rushed to hospital in Owen Sound early this morning after a single-vehicle rollover on the 8th St. E hill.

A vehicle driven by a 21-year-old Chatsworth area man was involved in a crash and rollover in a construction zone of the hill around 2:30am this morning.

The driver was able to crawl out of the vehicle, but two passengers remained trapped and required emergency services to extricate them.

One passenger suffered a broken wrist, the driver was treated for a possible head injury, and the other passenger sujfered only minor injuries.

The driver has been charged with operating a vehicle with over 80 mg of alcohol causing bodily harm, as well as some Highway Traffic Act charges including diving on a closed road.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
