Health Unit Asks For Public's Help In Hanover Dog Bite Case

The Grey Bruce Health Unit is asking for the public's help as they track down the owner of a dog involved in a biting incident in Hanover.

Officials say the incident involving a medium-sized brown, black and white Boxer mix took place on Tuesday afternoon at around 3 o'clock.

The victim was riding a scooter near the intersection of 8th St. and 10th Ave at the time.

The dog was with a group of youth at the time.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the health unit.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
