The Town of Goderich has sent out requests for proposal for the former Victoria Street Public School property.
Mayor Kevin Morrison says they've already had some interest from a couple of groups and expects that number could increase as the RFPs are advertised.
Morrison adds he doesn't expect zoning to be an issue for a prospective purchaser.
He says the property was a school so it would institutional now, but it is in a residential area and could also be zoned commercial because it's on a highway.
Morrison adds the town would like to see some development on the property as soon as possible.
