Central Huron To Hire Consultant For Skateboard Park

Central Huron council has approved a motion to hire a consultant to design a new skateboard park behind the pool in Clinton.

Mayor Jim Ginn says council is specifically looking for a concrete park rather than the current wood park.

Ginn says the wood park requires a lot of maintenance and eventually starts to fall apart.

Ginn adds he's not sure about a timeline for construction.

He notes there are pads in the ground now but he's not sure it can be done this year.
