Feast Of Fields In Meaford

Encouraged by the success of last year’s Feast of Fields, Meaford Farmer’s Market is holding this event again this evening.

The second annual Feast of Fields is being held from 5:30pm until 9pm tonight at Meaford Harbour Pavilion.

This year, Meaford Farmers’ Market is co-hosting the Feast with the SMILE Animal Society.

Local chefs and food producers are teaming up with The Farmer’s Market and SMILE to provide guests with a delicious four-course vegetarian meal. The hosts are also providing local ciders and wines at the cash bar.

Guests will also be treated to an evening of entertainment featuring musicians and singers from the south Georgian Bay area.

SMILE will be helping to raise funds from the feast to promote and help the spaying and neutering local dogs and cats and providing other aid for animals in the area.

Tickets are $35 a person at the door.
