A site has been chosen for a dog park in Hensall.
Bluewater Mayor Tyler Hessel says the dog park committee has recommended a property beside the Hensall Arena and behind the ball diamonds, and municipal staff have agreed that would be a good location.
Hessel adds they're now meeting with the president of the committee to determine how much it would cost to put a dog park in place.
The Hensall Co-op is the closest neighbour to the proposed park and Hessel says they have no objections.
He adds the neighbours across the street have been contacted and have not registered any negative comments.
