Traffic Lights At Highway 8 Intersection in Goderich Coming Soon

The Mayor of Goderich says progress is being made in getting traffic lights on Highway at the southeast end of Goderich at the LCBO and Canadian Tire intersection.

Kevin Morrison points out Highway 8 is a provincial responsibility and the delay has been with the province, not town hall.

"We're waiting for approvals from the MTO and we're getting there," says Morrison. "The developer and the MTO have been working together along with our engineers and it looks like we'll be getting traffic lights in the very near future."

The arrival of the LCBO and Shopper's Drug Mart at their current location in Goderich increased the traffic flow across Highway 8.
