Community Improvement Program Extended In Bluewater Municipalities

The mayor of Bluewater says the municipality is now in a position to roll out grants for the entire municipality of Bluewater under its Community Improvement Program.

Tyler Hessel says the C.I.P. program provides grants for one half of the cost of a project - like a facade improvement - up to a maximum of $5,000.

They have about $20,000 left for this year and will continue the program for main street business people next year, but Hessel says they have not set a budget yet for next year.

Interested business should contact the Bluewater municipal office in Zurich or go to the Bluewater web site.
