School Bus Collision Near Stratford Results In Charges

No one was seriously hurt in a collision near Stratford this morning involving an SUV and a school bus.

Police say the bus was heading north on Road 110 about 8:30am when it turned left onto Hwy. 7/8, into the path of an eastbound vehicle.

The female bus driver, and a 7-year-old girl riding the bus, were not hurt.

The 54-year-old driver of the SUV sustained minimal injuries.

Police have charged a 44-year-old bus driver from Stratford with failing to yield to traffic.

The road was blocked for a short period of time to remove the vehicles and debris from the road.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
