Region's Catholic Grade 10 Literacy Test Results Released

The number of Grade 10 students with The Huron Perth Catholic District School Board who were successful on their literacy test, surpassed the provincial average.

86 per cent of students with the board were successful on the test last year.

The province wide average is 82 per cent.

The Bruce Grey District Catholic School Board says 81 per cent of students who wrote the test passed.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
