UPDATE: Stratford Man Suffers Life Altering Injuries In Crash

Police have laid charges after a crash east of Stratford this morning.

A 31-year old Stratford man suffered major injuries in the crash involving a motorcycle and pick-up truck when the motorcycle was rear ended at an intersection.

Police say the bike was stopped in the eastbound lane on Perth Line 33 where it intersects with Perth Rd. 111. It was rear ended by a pick-up truck and the motorcycle ended up in the north east corner of the intersection while the pick-up came to a stop on the south shoulder of the road. The rider suffered major, life altering injuries and had to be air lifted from the scene to a London hospital.

A 70-year old man from Perth East has been charged with careless driving.

Names have not been released.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
