Doig Holds Fundraiser to Support Professional Career

Seaforth's Robyn Doig is hosting a special event next Friday at the Seaforth Golf Course to launch her professional career.

As Robyn explains one of the subtle differences between golf and team sports is that turning pro means now you have to raise some money so you can compete in professional tournaments.

The day begins with a golf tournament that includes a buffet lunch.

The evening program starts with a social hour at five, then Robyn will tell her story and then former NHL star Dennis Hull will tell a few of his stories.

Robyn adds legendary golfer Sandra Post will also be a special guest.

Post was the first Canadian golfer to play on the LPGA Tour.

A complete agenda can be found on the Events section of the Seaforth Golf web site.
