Former Arthur Village Building Renamed

Wellington North Mayor Andy Lennox says former Arthur Village Reeve David Kozinets is most deserving of having the former village municipal building named in his honour.

The designation was brought forward by the Arthur Historical Society and the plaque unveiled over the weekend.

Lennox says Kozinets led the village through changing times from 1972 to 1985. Among other things, the period saw the arrival of a major factory, a retirement home, and construction of the new Arthur Community Centre.

Lennox says Kozinets played an important role in revitalizing the Village of Arthur.
