Four Arrested for Wellington North Marijuana Operation

Three Wellington North residents and a man from Brampton are facing charges after a plot of marijuana was discovered.

Ministry of Natural Resources Conservation Officers found the suspected marijuana at a property on 12th Line of Wellington North.

OPP officers were called to the scene and seized suspected marijuana plants and suspected dried marijuana.   They also made four arrests.

48-year-old Rickey Butt of Wellington North is charged with Possession of Marijuana over 30 grams and Producing Marijuana.

65-year-Diane Butt of Wellington North, 67 year-old Ulrick Butt of Wellington North, and 55-year-old Carl Blanchard of Brampton are charged with Possession of Marijuana over 30 grams. All four are to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on November 10th.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
