West Perth Man Pinned by RV Dies

A West Perth man has died after being pinned underneath an RV.

Shortly after 1 p.m. Monday, Perth County OPP, the South Huron Fire Department and the Huron EMS were dispatched to a residential address along Line 21 west of Cromarty.

Police say one of the jacks used to raise the RV while the male was working underneath gave way, pinning him.

Emergency personnel removed the male from underneath the RV and proceeded to administer medical aid.

Seventy-six-year-old Duncan Scott was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
