Huron Food Hub Committee Being Set Up

The Huron Food Action Network, with the support of the Huron Business Development Corporation, is looking for people to sit on a Food Hub Feasibility Study committee.

They are looking for six to eight people with a wide range of experience and interests.

Consultant Joan Brady suggests they should have an interest in farm and food businesses and food systems and distribution.

Brady points out the initial time commitment would be limited to email communication, likely with one final meeting when they're ready to launch the feasibility study near the end of the year. Committee members will be compensated.

Anyone looking for more information or wanting to sit on the committee can contact Joan Brady at 237-3108 or email her at jbrady@hay.net
