Minto Selling Vacant Building In Downtown Palmerston

Minto council has decided to put a run-down building in downtown Palmerston up for tax sale.

The building, which formerly housed a bank and the Mac’s store, has been vacant for some time.

Its on the main downtown corner of Palmerston, and Minto council is hoping that the sale will be the start of an effort to rejuvenate that section of the main street.

Minto will accept sealed tenders for the purchase of the building.
