Wellington’s Green Legacy tree planting program has already planted almost 2-million trees across the county.
But it does a special 1,000-tree planting each year for the home municipality of the Warden.
Minto is going to put its 1,000 trees at the municipal office outside Harriston, which sits on eight acres of land.
