Justin Trudeau Visits Stratford Tuesday

A large number of supporters, some outside in the drizzle, waited patiently Tuesday afternoon in Stratford for the arrival of Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau.

A crowd packed the 'Chocolate Barrs' chocolate shop for a chance to meet Trudeau, shake his hand and offer words of encouragement leading up to next week's federal election.

Trudeau was in the Festival City to lend his support for Perth-Wellington Liberal candidate Stephen McCotter.

There were no major announcements during the stop, and after making his way through the standing room only crowd, the Liberal leader had a brief tour of the chocolate preparation area of the shop before boarding a bus to Kitchener for the evening.
