Mountain Biker Killed on Blue Mountain Trails

OPP have identified a cyclist who died while riding on the trails at Blue Mountain Resort.

Blue Mountains OPP were called to the resort about 6pm on Saturday.

A man was biking down one of the trails, when the cyclist left the trail and hit a tree.

Another cyclist found the man, and notified staff.

Staff, ambulance and police personnel were called to the scene, but the man died despite attempts at resuscitation.

The victim was identified as 58 year old Danny Grant of Halton Hills .

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
