Arthur Launches Dutch-Canadian Friendship Tulip Garden

The Village of Arthur launched its Dutch-Canadian Friendship Tulip Garden Friday at the cenotaph.

Arthur was one of 140 communities from across Canada chosen from 400 applications for the Friendship Garden. The program is sponsored by the Canadian Garden Council.

The garden consists of 700 red and white tulip bulbs. The project was initiated by the Arthur and Area Historical Society with help from the Arthur and District Horticultural Society, Arthur Legion and the Township of Wellington North.
