Early Start For Halloween At Huron County Museum

Halloween is starting early this year at the Huron County Museum in Goderich.

Education and Programming Assistant Sinead Cox explains they're starting the Halloween weekend off tonight [Thursday] with pumpkin carving for kids.  Youngsters and their parents are invited to the museum from 6pm to 8pm to carve pumpkins.

The only charge is the regular admittance to the museum or a canned food item for the food bank.

Then things get serious when the museum volunteers decorate the main street in the museum for Halloween on Saturday night.  Volunteers will be dressed up to make each of the shops on the main street as spooky as possible.

Children are invited to come in and trick-or-treat from 3:30pm until 8pm Saturday evening. There is no charge to get into the museum for the trick-or-treating Saturday night.
