Random Acts of Kindness Promoted in Midwestern Ontario

Random Acts of Kindness will spread across Midwestern Ontario this Friday.

Community Foundations in Stratford Perth, and in Grey Bruce, are promoting Random Acts of Kindness Day as a way to pay it forward.

The day began in 2008 as a way to engage citizens in small acts of kindness or generosity.

All you have to do to take part, is do something nice for someone, without expecting anything in return.

That can include holding a door for someone, or offer words of encouragement.

Special Kick offs have been planned to launch the program in Owen Sound, Walkerton, Listowel and Stratford.

A launch is set for the University of Waterloo on Patrick Street in Stratford at 8am. In Listowel, they will kick off the day at noon at Trillium Mutual Insurance.
