OPP Identify Driver Killed In Grey Highlands Collision

Grey County OPP has named the driver killed in a two-vehicle collision in Grey Highlands.

The driver of a Lincoln Town Car, 85-year-old Burton Hale of Grey Highlands, was pronounced dead at the scene about 5pm yesterday.

A 21-year-old male riding in the Lincoln was airlifted to Toronto with serious, possibly life-threatening injuries.

The 19-year-old Grey Highlands man driving the other vehicle, a Dodge Ram pickup, was not injured.

Police allege the 2007 Lincoln Town Car was west on 8th Concession B, when it failed to stop and hit the pickup truck which was travelling southbound on Road 63.

The investigation continues.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
