The outage was triggered when a vehicle collided with a hydro pole. As of 7:30 p.m. there were still 340 customers affected by the outage and the estimated time of restoration is 10 p.m. according to Hydro One's outage map.
There are no word on any injuries.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
