Charges Laid In Fatal Collision Near Molesworth

Charges have been laid against an 18-year-old from Huron East following an OPP investigation into a fatal crash last month near Molesworth.

The early-morning crash on October 3 on Maple Keys Line claimed the life an an 18-year-old male passenger.

Another 18-year-old male passenger remains in hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the vehicle, 18-year-old Cullen Donegan of Huron East, has been charged with:

  • Impaired driving causing death
  • Impaired driving causing bodily harm
  • Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death and causing bodily harm
  • Failing to wear a seat belt
He has been released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for December 7 in Goderich.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
