Memorial Cairn In Harriston Being Moved

A memorial cairn in honour of Harriston firefighters is going to be moved from a park at the back of the fire hall.

The cairn was erected in 1984, but it has very limited public access, and over the years has become overgrown with weeds and brush.

The cairn will be relocated to the Harriston Lions Medical Clinic, and a plaque will be erected to explain its history and how it came to be moved.
