Warrant Issued For Suspect In Blyth Robbery

The OPP in Huron County have released information and a photograph of a woman wanted for robbery.

The arrest warrant is for 32-year-old Shannon Elizabeth Hunter.  She is a suspect in a home invasion robbery in Blyth in early September.  She's also wanted for failing to comply with probation order several times.

The suspect is known to frequent Seaforth, Blyth, and Wingham.  She was last seen by police in a red Dodge Caravan.

Shannon Hunter is described as white, about 5'6", 130 lbs, with a thin build, brown hair and blue eyes.

If located, either the OPP or a local police service should be contacted immediately and no attempt should be made to apprehend the woman.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
