UPDATE: Power Restored In Midwestern Ontario

Hydro One has completely restored power to over 23,000 Hydro One customers in the region after winds of 100 km/h roared through Midwestern Ontario Friday morning.

Crews were out in full force all day Saturday to deal with with not only downed power lines, but broken poles as well.

Power was completely restored in Midwestern Ontario around 10:30pm on Saturday.

Around 15,400 customers across Ontario, however,will remain without power until Sunday.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
