New Tanker Truck Planned For Palmerston Station

Minto is going to spend about $237,000 for a new tanker fire truck for the Palmerston Station.

Minto Fire Chief Chris Harrow says the existing tanker, a 1989 GMC, is deteriorating. The chief is also searching for a used aerial ladder truck for about $250,000.

The aerial ladder on the existing truck can no longer be used.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
