UPDATE: Tobermory Fisherman Says Whitefish Are All Gone

A Nawash commercial fisherman who was giving away 3,000 lbs of whitefish now says the fish are all gone.

Guy Nadjiwon is in Tobermory and says his buyer backed out on him and the fish would have rotted so he wanted to get the word out there.

He says people heard about it on the radio and came from all over to Tobermory to pick it up and now there's no more left.

He says he is grateful.

"I just can't see myself as being native letting this much fish just spoil, so I'd like to give it away," says Nadjiwon.
