A Winning Weekend for Highlander Minor Midgets

The Grey Bruce Wes for Youth Highlander Minor Midgets topped the Niagara North Stars 3-2 in the first game of a double header on Saturday.

Zach Trott, Connor Roberts and Austin Vanwyck provided the Highlander's offense.

The second game ended in a 2-2 tie with Trott earning another point with a goal and Justin Marlowe scoring the Highlander's other goal of the game.

Yesterday they hosted the Guelph Gryphons, taking a 7-2 decision.

Zach Trott lead the scoring with two and Connor Roberts, Justin Marlowe, Jamie Damignami, Derek Cornfield and Chet Phillips also scored.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
