Stranger Approaches Young Girls In Erin

Wellington County OPP officers are investigating a suspicious person report after three girls were approached by a middle aged man in a black van near Erin Public School.

The OPP says the girls were walking on Daniel St. just south of the school about 1:35pm Tuesday afternoon, when the grey haired man asked the girls it he could give them a ride to the nearby school.

The girls refused and the man drove away without further incident.

Police say the man has a square face, possibly a small beard, no accent and no distinguishing marks.

The vehicle is described a black, four door, smaller van.

Police would like anyone with information to give them a call.
