Wellington North Public Meetings On Brush Drop-Off Future

For years, Wellington North has offered free brush drop-off sites in Mount Forest and Arthur. And for years, some users continue to use the brush sites to leave garbage, old furniture and other household items.

There have been repeated warnings that the brush dumps would be closed if inappropriate use continued, but to no avail.

Wellington North is going to hold public meetings in Arthur and Mount Forest to try to figure out how to save the popular service.

The first meeting is December 2 at the Arthur Community Centre; the second meeting is December 3 at the Mount Forest Sports Complex.
