Grey County OPP say the passenger on an ATV received serious life threatening injuries when she was thrown from the machine on Edgar Street about 5 last evening.
The 16 year old driver was treated for minor injuries.
Police say the operator and passenger were not wearing helmets.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
