Public Input Sought On Bluewater's Draft Strategic Plan

A draft version of a strategic plan for the Municipality of Bluewater has been presented to councillors, and they are now looking for public input.

Mayor Tyler Hessel says copies of the draft will be available at the public libraries in Bayfield, Zurich and Hensall as well as on the municipal web site.

Comment sheets will be available at the libraries and an email address will be posted on the web site for comments.

Hessel points out the normal time for public input would be 30 days, but because of the Christmas holidays it was felt the consultation period should be extended.

They are hoping to gather all the information for the first Committee of the Whole meeting in January.

It could be approved two weeks later at the regular council meeting.
