Listowel Curling Club Hosts Women's Cashspiel

The Listowel Curling Club is hosting 12 of the top curling teams in Ontario.

The First Annual Listowel Libro Women's Classic is sponsored by Libro Credit Union and is part of the Ontario Curling Tour.

Organizer Katie Cottrill says "it's pretty exciting for Listowel to host such a big event."

Cottrill says part of the cashspiel will be a dinner catered by Chef Peter Gusso of Blyth's Part II Bistro. Cottrill says they are calling "Dinner with the Stars."

The First Annual Listowel Libro Women's Classic is November 27th to 29th. More information is at listowelcurlingclub.com.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
