Home Sales In Grey Bruce Near Record Levels

Home sales remain near record levels in the Grey Bruce Owen Sound area.

The Realtors Association of Grey Bruce Owen Sound says 216 units changed hands in October, up 3.3 per cent from a year ago.

It was the third best October on record, and was just six sales shy of the record for the month set in 2009.

There were 316 new residential listings added last month.

The average price of a home sold in the area in October was up 7.7 per cent year over year to over $244,000.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
