Lucknow Resident Setting Sail

Katrina McQuail of Meeting Place Organic Farm in Lucknow is ready to set sail with eXXpedition Amazon.
McQuail will join 13 other women on a 3 week journey from Recife, Brazil to Guyana, South America to teach people about toxic chemicals and plastics and their affect on the environment.
EXXpedition does a variety of environmental educational journeys worldwide.
McQuail and Sarah Richardson, originally of Lucknow, set sail with eXXpedition December 3rd for 3 weeks.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
