Large Marijuana Seizure in Stratford; One Arrest

A Huron County man has been arrested and charged for allegedly selling marijuana in Stratford.

A month-long investigation by the Stratford Police Service Street Crime Unit concluded Monday with the arrest of a 26-year-old man.

The accused was in possession of about five pounds of marijuana. The total street value of the seized drugs is $22,400.

The suspect was charged with Possession of Marijuana over 30 grams, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, and Possession of Cannabis Resin.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
