Grey County Warden Kevin Eccles Makes Farewell Address

Grey County Warden Kevin Eccles made a farewell address as warden.

Eccles is thankful that County Council worked together over the past year to build a strong team to help move the county forward. He says he is proud the great strides the county has made in Economic Development, and tourism.

Eccles was pleased to see Grey County's partnership to help Georgian College to establish the Marine Emergency Training Centre.

"Certainly it's big for the region's post secondary education and being able to have that opportunity here in Grey County," he says. "It's international so it certainly puts us on the map that way."

He says other highlights of the year include working with the Bluewater School board on early childhood education in Dundalk. A new Warden will be elected in December.

Eccles says the wardens job is very demanding time wise.
