Wellington County OPP allege a Mount Forest man answered a knock by a police officer, by opening the door and pointing a gun. Police were checking on the wellbeing of a resident early Saturday morning after an altercation at a local business. Police say the man who answered the door quickly lowered the gun, and was arrested. A woman at the home told police the man had also pointed a gun at her. Police charged 47 year old Sean Mangan of Mount Forest with pointing a firearm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and assault a peace officer with a weapon.
