TD Donates To Help New Community Health Campus In Wingham

Another generous donation has been made to the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation.

The TD Canada Trust Branch in Wingham has pledged a donation of $40,000 toward the campaign over the next four years.

“TD recognizes that the demand for health services continues to grow, stretching the capacity of many front-line agencies to meet the need on their own,” says Miranda DeBoer, the previous TD Wingham branch manager.

The cheque was presented at the site of the new Community Health Care Campus at the former Wingham Public School, an initiative that TD Canada Trust fully supports in the community.

The money will go directly toward the hospital redevelopment project, specifically the new Community Health Campus being built at the site of the former Wingham Public School on John St. in Wingham.

"That was the piece that they specifically connected with and so they wanted to make sure that their donation went towards that," says Nicole Jutzi, foundation coordinator and campaign manager for the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation.

The campaign, with an overall goal of $4-million, hopes to reach the $1-million mark early in the 2016 new year.
