Bruce Grey Owen Sound MP Officially Sworn In

Bruce Grey Owen Sound MP Larry Miller was officially sworn in on Wednesday at Parliament Hill in Ottawa.

This was the fifth time for Miller, and to do things a little differently, he decided to bring all of his staff along with him to the ceremony.

Miller says his staff had never been to a federal swearing in ceremony before and he wanted to include them as a show of appreciation for all the hard work that they do.

"For the first time ever all my staff, including the constituency staff, came down and they were there for my swearing in and we took photos, and it was a kinda nice," Miller told CKNX Wednesday from Ottawa. "They're the ones that keep the office going while I'm in Ottawa and you know, in both places, so it was good to have them here."

MP Miller spent the day Wednesday taking part in the first real Conservative Caucus meeting in Ottawa and says it's great to be back in Parliament.

Governor General David Johnston will deliver the speech from the Throne on Friday, December 4, 2015 at 2:30pm EDT.
