Bluewater Mayor To Chair Board Of Health

Bluewater Mayor Tyler Hessel has been asked to serve for a second year as chair of the Huron County Board of Health.

Hessel says he appreciates the confidence the board has shown in him and adds he believes that given some of the projects the board in involved in at this time continuity is important.

Hessel says Dr. Janice Owen is in her first year as medical officer of health and the health unit is still involved in amalgamation discussions with Perth County, so a change might not be a good idea at this time.
