UPDATE: Hanover Police Locate Missing Teen

Hanover police have located a 15-year-old teen who had been reported missing on Saturday.

Hanover Police Chief Chris Knoll tells CKNX via email that:

"Zachary Durrer has been located this morning (Sunday, December 6) in a Hanover residence by members of the Hanover Police Service.

Hanover Police Service acted on information received through sources that came forward as a result of the media and social media press releases.  The Hanover Police Service wants to thank our media partners and our followers on social media that led directly to this young person being located safe and sound."

Zachary Shawn Durrer had last been seen at around 10pm on November 25, 2015.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
