New Feeder Line Approved From Palmerston To Mount Forest

Wellington North council has approved the borrowing of $1.5-million to finance a new electrical feeder line into Mount Forest.

As the major shareholder of Wellington North Power, Wellington North’s approval allows the utility to borrow the money to build the new feeder line from Palmerston. There is already an existing feeder line coming from Hanover.

The other urban centre in Wellington North, the Village of Arthur, is already served by two lines, one from Orangeville and a second from Fergus.

Wellington North Power will be constructing the new line to Mount Forest from Palmerston.
