Home Sales in Grey Bruce Set a New Record

Home sales remain hot in Grey Bruce Owen Sound as activity in November set a new record.

The local Realtors Association says 200 units changed hands last month, up over 28% from the same month last year.

Its the best November ever by a considerable margin.

On a year to year basis, sales activity is running 16 per cent ahead of the same 11 month period last year.

With just one month to go in the year, sales activity is running just 21 sales below the 2007 record.

The average home sale price in November is up about 10 per cent year over year to $257,437.

Sales of all types of properties added up to 249 in November, which is a nearly 24% increase over November 2014.
