Air Ambulance Responds to Mar Sideroad
Photo courtesy of Bruce Peninsula OPP Bruce Peninsula OPP say a man was airlifted from the scene of a collision on Mar Side Road this morning. OPP and emergency workers responded to a crash about 11:33am to find a vehicle had left the road and entered the ditch. The lone male driver sustained critical life threatening injuries. His identity is not being released right now. The Mar Side Road remains closed from Highway 6 to Bruce road 9.
In the joint statement issued this week, both the Canadian and U.S. Coast Guards said the unsanctioned float down "poses significant dangers to participants."
Hydro One crews are working on infrastructure improvements this week in the northern and west-central parts of Lambton County.
Local groups and organizations are encouraged to apply by 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, August 15.
The change in the rules is immediate.
The training is scheduled to take place at the west end of the Sarnia Government Dock between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.
