New Acting C-A-O For Central Huron

Central Huron has a new acting Chief Administrative Officer.

Mayor Jim Ginn has announced that former Deputy Treasurer Steve Doherty is moving into that role.

Ginn explains there are several advantages in hiring a staff member; and at the top of the list is the fact he already know the issues the municipality is dealing with, and is familiar with how the municipality operates.

Ginn adds he hopes Doherty will become the permanent C-A-O.

The resignation of Peggy Van Mierlo as C-A-O was effective last week.
